Emanuel Soza-Foias (he/him) is a 24-year-old primarily self-taught photographer with eight years of experience, specializing in portraits, wildlife portraits, sporting events, aerial photography, and landscapes.

Growing up in the small, rural town of Williamstown, Massachusetts, he was deeply influenced by the natural surroundings, spending much of my time outdoors exploring local creeks, ponds, and forests. His journey into photography began with the purchase of a camera, which he shared with his older brother. He started by photographing small songbirds, deer, and waterfowl near his home, but now captures species across the United States and abroad.

His fascination with the natural world led him to pursue a degree in Zoology and a minor in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont. He currently works with LifeTouch as a school portrait photographer, interned with the Information and Outreach Department of Vermont Fish & Wildlife to photograph Wildlife Management Areas and native species, and volunteers with Audubon Vermont, Vermont River Conservancy, and Vermont Fish & Wildlife capturing images of various events and research projects.
